Cat Crazy
I have also come to the stark realization that this may very well be me in the near future. I talk more about my cats than anything else. It is quite disturbing actually! I am going to be that woman who lives in a house covered with ivy, has 45 cats ( all named Fluffy) and speaks gibberish. Actually, when I look at it that way, it doesn't sound so bad!

You are ridiculous. To anyone reading her blog. She is young, hot, blond and just has the bad luck of a husband who is currently not appreciating what he has. You will end up with some hot guy with a lear jet and a tiny lap dog that flies first class. bitch.
and I will end up with more Botox than Janice Dickenson and three daughters who hate me and think I'm mean.
Ok...I have to comment again. Aren't you thrilled?
My best friend and I promised we'd grow old together. We'd be the crazy old cat ladies down the street, rocking on the front porch with our "tea" and our 97 cats, frightening the local children. When my husband asked where he'd be, I told him "In the graveyard down the street." When HER husband asked where HE'D be, I told him he'd be mowing my husband's grave. Then I cackled. Really.
Sweetness and light, me.
I'll try very hard not to be stalkerish and pounce on your every post, but I am often home without any supervision but that of three cats and a five-year-old, and blogging and commenting may be the only adult interaction I have in days...sorry you have to be a victim. Cheers!
Shade and Sweetwater,
K
PS - blame Stefanie, she opened the door... :-)
PPS - there's always room for another rocker...and you won't believe what's in the tea...
Interesting - I just made this same claim about myself today. I want to get one of those family stencils for the back of the car window, but I want it to be one lady and 35 cats.
Hi. I'm here from Baby on Bored, I just wanted to say that you're cracking me up! From a fellow cat lady, cheers and good luck with your new blog!
We call those cat ranchers. You have got a loooooooong way to go before you can claim that title! I love cats. I'd have 45 if I could.
Came here from Baby on Bored. Although I am SO NOT a cat person, I look forward to following your journey!
Love your writing style.
I'm also here from Stefanie's blog.
And I have to say, I always thought I'd end up being a cat lady.
And? It didn't bother me one bit. I figured I'd rather be happy and alone living with 40 cats than miserable living with a crappy man.
I ended up finding a non-crappy man, so my future as a crazy cat lady is looking compromised.
But should anything happen to him, I would have no problems striving for the dream again.
I'll be back to follow your first steps into bloggyland. It's a nice safe place, I hope you like it!
Get a dog and break the cycle!!
